My poor lawn is toast, literally. This has been the second hottest summer in the history of Long Island and the grass is feeling it. Even some lawns that have sprinklers running daily are still getting burnt. I have deployed the water tractor in an effort to salvage what's left of the grass and hopefully it will pull out of it in the fall. My 30 yr. old AC unit is also making bad sounds so hopefully we can get through a few more weeks in the high humidity.
Not even the super hose tractor can save it!
