Big Changes cometh, Esselte Corp

This week ended with a big announcement from my company. We have just signed a deal to sell off one of our major product brands. See the press announcement for the full detail. Pretty interesting stuff. This also means big changes and a lot of work worldwide. I have been summoned to Brussels in Belgium next week for a corporate meeting with the new owners and Esselte management to figure out how we are to proceed in transition. This does not affect my job per se within Esselte however this causes major ripples in the political structure of the company and overall direction, so stay tuned. Next week will also bring some major cuts in the Melville and North America offices so it should be a very exciting week for some people.
